Voiceline Phone Service? Nettalk Voiceline Phone
Service is like any other telephone service that
you use today, provided to you by your local
provider. You will need High Speed
Internet.
Nettalk Voiceline Phone Service
is the Next Generation Telephone Service that you
get anywhere in the world over the Internet
combining high speed Internet and standard PSTN
Connections.
The Nettalk Voiceline Phone
Service works via broad band Internet service, no
matter where in the world.
Nettalk
Voiceline is a fully functional Telephone Line
that allows you to make and receive phone calls
just like a regular phone line service, with all
the
features like call waiting, caller id, 3 way
calling and with the certainty that you will be
paying only a fixed per month charge.
The Uniqueness about the
Nettalk Voiceline is that it is available anywhere
in the world, and not just in the United States.
You can Install a Nettalk Voiceline in US, Canada,
China, India, Middle East or Africa & you will
still get a USA Telephone number, on which you can
make and receive phone calls, FREE.
You can be located anywhere
in the world and still receive the phone calls on
your US based number, and there will be no extra
per minute charge.

Phone Service also allows you to make a call to
anywhere in the United States and Canada for ZERO
Cents Per Min, Yes, that's right, its 100% Free to
call anywhere in the United States and Canada via

2) How does Nettalk Voiceline
works?
When
You order Nettalk Voiceline Service, you get a CPE
(Customer Premises Equipment) that you plug on
your dsl or cable modem. Then You attach your
telephone set to it and start making phone
calls.
When
you place a call using Nettalk Voiceline Phone
Service, it goes through the Internet, to one of
our many PSTN gateway servers, then places a call
to the number you are calling, making it work the
same way like you use your phone today.
If
you place a call from a Nettalk Voiceline to
another Nettalk Voiceline Subscriber, the system
opens a Direct Connection between the 2 Nettalk
Voicelines over the Internet, bypassing the
regular telephone
system.

21) How many
telephones extensions can I
have? There are four ways to plug
multiple extensions into your ATA. Please note
that currently only phone port 1 is used by our
service.
1. You can purchase a multiple
jack extension connector, and then connect it to
phone port 1 of the ATA. This will allow you to
have multiple phones on a single Nettalk Voiceline
line.
2. Some of our customers use cordless phone
systems that come with a base unit and extra
handsets. The base station of the cordless
telephone plugs directly into the ATA. Multiple
handsets can be placed anywhere in the
house.
3. You can purchase wireless phone jacks. The
base unit connects to the ATA and the wireless
jacks plug into your household electrical outlets.
A telephone connects to the wireless jack. Please
note that only the phone attached to the base unit
will display caller ID information. Note: During
testing in our lab, we noticed sporadic dropped
calls on the extension phones and an inability to
talk on more than one phone at a
time.
4. Some of our customers have
plugged the ATA directly into the existing
telephone wiring in their homes. The manufacturer
of the adapter does not recommend hooking anything
to the adapter other than a telephone, but you can
seek advice from an electrician or someone who is
familiar with internal telephone wiring on how to
best connect it to your current wiring to take
advantage of multiple extensions. We would advice
that you check the wiring on the jacks to make
sure you don't have live PSTN voltage on the jacks
before connecting them to the ATA (this can be
easily done by using a line tester). Be advised
that any damage resulting from practices contrary
to manufacturers' recommendations for the ATA will
not be covered by warranty.
22) How do I
get multiple phone lines? To get multiple
lines, you must open multiple accounts. We offer
Corporate discounts for customers who have over 10
lines.

23) Is Nettalk Voiceline
like a cell phone? No, it's not.
Nettalk Voiceline provides stable, premium
telephone service over a high speed Internet
connection. However, Nettalk Voiceline does
provide one of the advantages of a cell phone:
your phone number will stay connected to your
basic Nettalk Voiceline equipment (namely, your
ATA 186 or Motorolla phone adapter). So if you
bring this equipment along with you when you
travel, and connect it to any high-speed Internet
connection at your new location, you'll be
reachable at your phone number wherever you
are. back to top
24) Can I
